10 Simple and Savvy Tips for Bus and Train Etiquette

During the holidays, the busses and trains will be very busy.  And guess what-yep, there are even simple rules, to keep you savvy, for riding the bus and train.  So listen up…

10 Simple and Savvy Rules to riding the bus and train for the Savvy Girls.

1. While waiting on the bus, do not play around at the bus stop and be mindful of of your surroundings.

2. Have your pass or fare ready

4. Do not occupy empty seats for your personal belongings if someone needs to sit in that space (By the way, this goes for the movies too).

5.  Offer your seat to others that have difficulty standing-like an elderly person or pregnant woman.

6. If you are traveling with a group of friends, do not play around on bus, talk loudly, or use offensive language.

7.  Do not play loud music

8. Be cognizant not to bump into people with bulky bags and back packs

9. At the stop before your exit, prepare to gather your things and make your way to the exit.

10.  Once you exit the bus or train, do not hang around, go to your destination-this is not only civil, it is practicing safety.
