8 Simple & Savvy Tips about Conversation During Dining

stay calm and kiss white dressMealtime and Dining allow us to experience good food and people.  It is during dinner that families catch up and check-in on updates about happenings and events in your life.  Business professionals and young entrepreneurs close deals during dining at some very nice and posh restaurants.  Here are some Simple and Savvy tips to ensure you are being a great conversationalist during meal and dining time, while adhering to proper etiquette.

9 Simple & Savvy Tips for meal time and dining conversations

2.  Pay attention to what the person is saying and show interest by asking questions, answering his or her questions, elaborating, and  making comments on what him or her said.  Refer to my post on blocks to effective listening.

3. Don’t interrupt others while taking

4. Speak Clearly when you are talking

6. Avoid talking loudly and using language and conversations that would offend others

7. Compliment the food and if you don’t like it do not say it at the table

8. Thank the host or the waiter or waitress when the food is served
